Saturday begins with a cyclocross/mtb short track race on a fun 1-ish mile course. The course is a mix of woods trails and marked and mowed fields (like a typical cyclocross course). The course will work well for cyclocross, gravel AND mountain bikes. If numbers allow, there will be separate cross and mountain bike categories. This will be a low key event intended to be fun for all abilities.
The cross/mtb races are followed by a last-man standing style running race on the bike course. Runners will need to complete each lap in a certain amount of time (exact time tbd). Lap length will be approximately 1 mile. The time allowed for each lap will drop by one minute per lap. (runners get to rest for the rest of the lap duration. For example, if…
